Life Cycle Cost

ALE has applied proven Life Cycle Cost analysis tools and techniques to a variety of customer projects to successfully reduce Total Ownership Costs and increase availability. ALE works with your team to develop comprehensive information and then utilizes it to provide quality insights into the system under analysis. While cost avoidance exists at every turn, the greatest potential for reducing costs comes in the early stages of development.

ALE's Life Cycle Cost approach is not driven solely by cost. Our programs also include identification of risk and customer acceptance and how that factors into the decision process. With our holistic approach, we help identify the impact each decision will have on the entire program.

In order to provide the best analysis possible, we team with our customers to ensure expectations are not only met, but exceeded. Throughout the constantly evolving process, communication is critical. At key milestones of the Life Cycle Cost analysis, ALE uses a tailored approach to provide detail reports, project results, and recommendations.

A specific example of the successful application of ALE's unique approach to Life Cycle Cost is the Facility Affordability Comparison & Evaluation Technique (FACET) used on our customers' facilities. FACET has been proven on military and commercial programs to provide visibility to major cost drivers in design, development, and operation phases of a project. This technique has been adapted to help architects, engineers, and facility owners make informed decisions in the early phases of development to reduce the total ownership cost of facilities, equipment, systems, or capital intensive projects, and effectively evaluate "green" opportunities.
